STILL WAITING FOR YOUR FAMILY TREE TO BLOOM? Do you have the desire to know the ancestors who came before you, those people who made you possible?      Where did they live?      What did they look like?      What were their livelihoods?      Were they famous?      Were they scoundrels?      Were the family tales true? If you have already tried to find answers to those questions, or are just beginning, it can be both frustrating and disappointing to come up empty-handed.

ARE YOUR ANCESTORS ELUDING YOU? Chances are, you have run into a snag or a 'brick wall' somewhere along the line -- most families do!  Ancestors can be difficult to find in many situations: -common surnames (Lee, Brown, Smith, etc.) -records lost in fires/floods/wars -language barriers -minimal written records , e.g., Native & African oral history -name variations/changes All of these things can leave your trail cold & perpetuate the game of hide & seek that you play with your ancestors.
